“The Cape Breton municipal Councillor responsible for the Main a Dieu area is giving a thumbs up to an Antigonish company. The final piece from the wreck of the M-V Miner has been removed. R-J MacIsaac Construction was awarded a 12-million-dollar contract for the project. The 12-thousand-tonne vessel was being towed to Turkey in September 2011 when its tow line broke.
Councillor Kevin Saccary says the company had its hands full, but they did a good job on and off the job site.”
